Studio Policies

At Kellie McCann Photography, we want your photography experience to be the best it can be in the Hilton Head Island / Bluffton area. We've found that communicating some of our business policies in advance helps answer many questions ahead of time. 

Portrait Photography is Art, but we still value our creative time as any other BUSINESS.

Portrait Sessions

Due to our high demand, 50% of your session fee is required at the time of booking to reserve your session on our calendar.  This is a non-refundable retainer for our services.  

Selection & Design Appointment

Please be prepared to schedule a 60-minute Selection & Design appointment after your portrait session. This appointment will be held at our gallery location in Hilton Head Island.  We will assist you in making your portrait selections and help you choose the correct sizes for your walls. Please ensure all decision-makers will be present or we will, unfortunately, need to reschedule.

Payment Information

All orders must be paid in full at the time of selection unless a payment plan is arranged. Due to the personalized nature of our business, all orders are non-refundable once full or partial payment is received.  No portion of any order can be delivered until the entire order is paid in full.
Cash, Check, Visa, MasterCard and American Express are accepted.

Image Archiving

Non-ordered session images will be held for 30 days after your session date. All ordered images will be archived for your safe keeping at multiple locations at no additional fee. After the 30 days, non-ordered images will be discarded.

Production Time

Please allow approximately 6-8 weeks for your order to be processed. Your one-of-a-kind, artisan-quality portraits are an investment and heirlooms that should not be rushed.

Copyright

All portraits, including previews at your studio design appointment, are protected by Federal Copyright Laws and are not to be copied or reproduced IN ANY WAY without the written permission of Kellie McCann.  Failure to comply with Federal Copyright Laws will likely result in legal action brought by Kellie McCann Photography.
